These beautiful Sea Urchin Candles are wonderful for Beach Weddings or for any beach theme, nautical theme, tropical theme and great for home decor for that beach cottage look.

Their small to mid size make them perfect for beach wedding favors - or place a cluster on table tops for mood lighting or to accent centerpieces. These also float, so you can place them in a small glass bowl. These do not, however, have a long burn time due to their small size.

Sea urchins are small, spiny, globular animals found in oceans all over the world. Related to the Starfish (or Sea Star) and the Sea Bisquit these sea creatures are covered with sharp colorful spines. When they die the "hard part" that washes to shore is called a "test", which has the beautiful dotted pattern as shown in the photos above.

These candle molds were made from a real Sea Urchins so the candle detail is incredible. The tiny holes where the spines once were produce the intricate dotted pattern and raised textured surface. These candles produce a beautiful warm glow when lit.

This is a HAND POURED candle with SOLD COLOR wax throughout, not white wax that's been dipped into colored wax. Premium translucent paraffin wax and all-cotton wicks.

This SET OF 5 candles includes:
1 - Large sea urchin measuring 2" Long x 1.75" Wide x 7/8"H
2 - Medium sea urchins measuring 1.75" Long x 1.5" Wide x .75" High
2 - Small sea urchins measuring 1.5" Long x 1-1/8" Wide x 5/8" High
