The
most striking difference between a Lotus
and a Water Llily is in the center female
part (carpel). The Lotus flower has a
barrel shaped carpel that is embedded in
an expanded receptacle and a ring formed
by the stamens at the base - this is a
distinguishing feature of the Lotus. The
leaves of the Lotus rise above the water
level whereas the leaves of Water Llily
are found floating on the water surface.

This is a HAND
POURED and HAND
PAINTED candle
using premium translucent paraffin wax and
all-cotton wicks.
These gorgeous Lotus Flower Candles have 3 to 4
layers of delicate cupped petals surrounding a
detailed 3D center for a truly realistic look.
The petals are hand painted in an array of
beautiful natural colors. The centers are also
hand painted in either a golden yellow color or a
green and golden yellow. Their extended rounded
flat bottoms allow them to float beautifully.
These candles produce a wonderful warm glow when
lit.
Measures about 3.5" in
Diameter and nearly 3.25" High
